Summary

Strengths: This survey can be linked with the Austrian Microcensus. For the purpose of analysing older generations, this survey is useful since the data is stratified by age groups. Weaknesses: The voluntary nature of the survey may bias the sample in favor of persons who have more time (i.e. are engaged in fewer time-consuming activities).

Data collected in 2006. The sample was made up of 9,360 individuals that participated in the main survey (conducted as an ad hoc survey to the 2006 Microcensus), and 2,301 in a follow-up survey that was conducted separately from the Microcensus. The total sample size was 11,661 persons.
