Data was collected between 2005 and 2008 with a sample of 150 pension funds and insurance companies (covering around 70 percent of all pension entitlements). Data collection is ongoing and is scheduled to continue at some point in the future.

Timeliness, transparency
Data is collected annually. The final database is released 22 months after collection. In 2009 and 2010, there was a delay in data release due to a change in the production process.
