Survey on the Equipment and Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT-H) in Households

Encuesta sobre Equipamiento y Uso de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (TIC-H) en los Hogares (2002-2012)

Summary

TIC-H survey started to be conducted continuously in 2004 as a rotating panel to follow the same dwellings (panel) over various years, with a quarter of the sample being renewed every year. Surveys follow the methodological recommendations of Eurostat. -Strengths: To achieve greater comparability with the data published by Eurostat, the results presented since the first half of 2006 refer to dwellings inhabited by at least one person aged 16 to 74 and to people in this same age group. - Weaknesses: The registry does not have full comparability due to changes in questionnaires and due to the fact that the same individuals interviewed are not linked across time.
