Coverage of main and cross-cutting topics
Data was collected on a society-wide basis on intergenerational relationships, points of conflict and changes in the overall picture of old age. Additional data was collected at the family-level on intergenerational relationship between family members, potential for solidarity, support, help needed and help provided, care, distance between residences of family members, frequency of contact and communication, quality of relationship, location and level of urbanisation of residence.
