Gender and Generations Survey (GGS)

Gender and Generations Survey (GGS)

Summary

Strengths: This survey is part of the harmonised multi-country Generations and Gender Program (GGP), which makes it possible for international comparisons. Weaknesses: To date, Austria's version of the Gender and Generations Survey (GGS) has covered only some of the themes included in the original GGP designed survey (Austrian GGS focused on fertility, family planning, and household characteristics, and has not included measures on intergenerational and gender-specific relationships; the composition of the household and physical living conditions; division of labor in the household, social networks; private and public financial aid services; mobility and health).
