In November, the CIHR Institute of Aging attended the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando, Florida. During the event, the CIHR Institute of Aging, along with the Canadian Space Agency, hosted an inaugural interest group meeting on the topic of “WE-SHARE” (World Explores Space Health and Aging Research). This meeting brought together international aging researchers, international funding organizations, space agencies, and other stakeholders around the parallels of aging and space travel.
