INNO INDIGO is a geographical ERA Net with India. Under INNO INDIGO and its predecessor project New INDIGO, seven joint calls for proposals have been implemented successfully with the Indian Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and the Indian Department of Science and Technology (DST). The Platform for Funders event is a forum for national and regional funding agencies from Europe and India to exchange about current developments in EU-Indie Science, Technology and Innovation cooperation and to discuss and plan joint activities. Concerning the meeting: the morning session of day 1 will start with an update on multilateral and bilateral EU-India Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation followed by a focused discussion about opportunities to increase the involvement of regions from Europe and State Governments from India into joint activities.
The afternoon session will then discuss scenarios for a continuation of INNO INDIGO-like activities after the lifetime of the project which is financed by the European Commission.
Day 2 will focus on the planning of the next INNO INDIGO joint call for proposals, followed by an excursion.
